Vendors list their services. Clients book, pay, and their money is held in escrow until the job is done. Neither side carries the risk alone.
1. Browse & Request
Find a verified vendor, choose a service package, and submit a booking request. No payment yet.
2. Vendor Accepts
The vendor reviews and accepts your request. Only then are you asked to pay the upfront amount into escrow.
3. Escrow Holds Funds
Your payment is held securely by BursaPay. The vendor cannot access it until you are satisfied.
4. Work is Delivered
The vendor submits their deliverables (files, links, or notes) through the platform for your review.
5. You Review & Release
Mark the booking as satisfied — escrow releases to the vendor. Not satisfied? Raise a dispute first.
Instant Release (Optional)
Some vendors enable an optional early-release percentage. You receive an email and must explicitly approve. Approval is irrevocable — read the email carefully before clicking.

All transactions are processed through Paystack and Flutterwave — two of Nigeria's most reliable payment gateways. BursaPay works above them, adding the structure, records, and controls that make every payment accountable.
Payment confirmation is instant via real-time webhooks. Receipts are emailed automatically. Every transaction is logged with a unique reference number that can be independently verified.

5% up to ₦20k · 4% up to ₦50k · 3.5% up to ₦100k · 3% above ₦100k
Gateway Fees
Paystack: 1.5% + ₦100, capped at ₦2,000. Displayed at checkout before payment.

Processed on business days. Funds held securely in platform wallet until withdrawal is approved.

Escrow Note
For vendor marketplace bookings, funds are not transferred to the vendor at payment time. They are held in escrow and released only when you confirm satisfaction — or when BursaPay resolves a dispute.
